Autopatrolled granted

Hi DACC23, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the autopatrolled right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! Alex ShihTalk 03:16, 13 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Deleting of ancestral categories

Did you see what johnpacklambert did? He wiped out hundreds of ancestral categories, many using HotCat function

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Contributions/Johnpacklambert&offset=20171105041117&target=Johnpacklambert

This undoes the work of dozens of historians like us

I have dealt with such types before and the only way to stave this off is to put sourced ancestry (like the Schuylers were a prominent family of Dutch ancestry) in every single wiki page.

I had one bozo fight me on the relevance of Madonna's Italian American ancestry - can you believe that? It was a 30 something Millennial snowflake who was clueless.

Hey DACC23 any chance you can add Jane Means Appleton to the Appleton family page? She was the wife of President Franklin Pierce. Thanks Rsarlls

Thank you for your well-researched and well-cited major expansions of John Teele Pratt, Robert H. Thayer ‎and Sigourney Thayer, some of the very first articles I started, way back in 2006. Edwardx (talk) 22:41, 25 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I see you've improved many articles about the Gilded Age. Would you be interested in creating an article about the Church of the Strangers, Rev. Charles Deems's church in New York City attended by Cornelius Vanderbilt please?Zigzig20s (talk) 22:59, 25 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Nicholas Low

A lot of good info, but why does the infobox say Isaac Low? Peter Flass (talk) 08:06, 21 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much for the infobox for Mary Abbott's page! It looks Great! Cordially yours, RRFWTommartin (talk) 00:13, 8 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

please don't unnecessarily rewrite references for purely esthetic reason

You seem to have unnecessarily rewritten references for purely esthetic reason. It's counter-policy, and, IMO, disruptive. So, please don't do it. Geo Swan (talk) 05:45, 15 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
