This article was incredibly biased towards the positives about the dam -- which, admittedly are many -- but conveniently neglected to mention the fact that the new body of water which will be created upstream of the dam will inundate known archaeological sites dating to over ten thousand years ago. the land is in dispute between India and Pakistan

In the article it is mentioned no where that the area of gilgit baltistan is in dispute between India and Pakistan , it should be mentioned with the location of the dam , and the other issue is when the area is in dispute then Pakistan cannot be referred as alone owner, all the countries which are involved in the dispute of this land should be mentioned , for the same dispute world bank denied to pass loan for the dam and asked to get a NOC from India which is still not given, Due to all these reasons i am editing this page to show the dispute of land. --Ganurap (talk) 18:10, 16 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
