The Pivdennodonbaska 1 coal mine is a large coal mine located in the south-east of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast. Pivdennodonbaska 1 represents one of the largest coal reserves in Ukraine, having estimated reserves of 69.3 million tonnes.[1] The annual coal production is around 1.2 million tonnes.
