– The official English title of this series used by all official English licensors (Crunchyroll for the anime, Viz Media for the manga) is "Haikyu!!" (no macron), not "Haikyū!!" Jeffinitelyjeff (talk) 05:05, 18 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose per page creator. 排球 ("volleyball") is pronounced with a long u; so it won't hurt anyone to pronounce it correctly. This is primarily an article about a Japanese comic, if it is marketed overseas by people who don't know what the title means or how to pronounce it, that shouldn't concern us.   • Supportper MOS:A&M, which states "Use the most commonly known English titles for article names", which is based on WP:COMMONNAME. This applies to the use of macrons in titles as well. "Haikyu!!" is the official English title and the one in which reliable English-language sources will refer to the series as. It is not Wikipedia's place to enforce a naming standard that is not used by reliable English-language sources. —Farix (t | c) 11:58, 18 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
