I'm GainLine, my name is based on the rugby term:- gain line. It's not symbolic of anything so don't read too much into it other than I'm a rugby fan. I'm from Ireland 
and my edits on wikipedia relate mainly to this area as well as some project rugby union stuff.
I started on editing on Wikipedia in Autumn 2008 though not as seriously as I should have (see past misdemeanours). I edit chiefly on Irish & Rugby related topics. I think Wikipedia is a great project but its not without its faults. Unfortunatley what you read here isn't always realiable and there are those who use and abuse it to their own ends be it spam, misrepresenting facts or just plain vandalising. As well as editing areas I'm interested in, I try to help clean up areas that I see problems with and have started patrolling new pages. Call it a bit of penance! In the future I hope to create more articles but maybe when I have more time and I become more adept at wikifying things! I may occasionally mess up, if I do, let me know, I'm only human.

Current Projects
I'm embarking on a clean-up of current Irish Rugby Player Bios, a probably thankless task! I'm trying to get them into a standard format and update and expand as I go along. If anybody feels up to assisting, it would be greatly appreciated. I've struck off what I've done already:-
