The reason I combined the box office and critical reception sections into one section on Carol (film) is because that's how the majority of film articles are structured. I apologize for not noticing that it had GA status, but there's no need to be rude and accuse me of thinking I owned the article. At the very least, we could combine the critical and audience response sections. Songwaters (talk) 23:34, 26 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm so used to many editors doing whatever the hell they feel like doing in articles that I was inexcusably rude to you. I apologize. However, whatever you may find in some other film articles, this one complies with MOS:FILM. When a film article achieves Good Article status, it is best to observe WP:CAUTIOUS and WP:CAREFUL. Apology accepted. Thank you for the advice. Songwaters (talk) 01:25, 27 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

    A barnstar for you

    The LGBT Barnstar
I really came here to thank you once more for for this comment at Arbcom, but after looking you up, whether you like accolades or not I want to thank you even more for everything you do for LGBT+. (and I'm not even gay!) Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 00:32, 27 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

About the revert on LGBT symbols

Blue may be more commonly used, but it is also incorrect. The color on the pansexual flag is clearly cyan, not blue. IlSoupylI (talk) 21:48, 20 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@IlSoupylI: You joined Wikipedia on 8 December 2019. So you should know by now about WP:10SIMPLERULES; and you're familiar with policies WP:NOR, WP:V, WP:RS, and WP:NPOV, too. So then you also know about WP:NOTTRUTH:
..."content is determined by previously published information rather than the beliefs or experiences of its editors...", and ...material added to Wikipedia must have been published previously by a reliable source. Unless you have verified it beforehand with a reliable source, you may not add content just because you believe it is true, nor may you delete content that you may believe to be untrue.
Therefore, if you find a reliable source that says the color is "cyan" ... create a discussion in the Talk page for overriding the 3 sources that say it is "blue". It's not your Wikipedia and it's not my Wikipedia, and we all need to follow the policies for editing Wikipedia articles. It's as simple as that. Pyxis Solitary (yak). List of lesbian characters in television Rev. ID 1014304172

Just wanted to drop in and say I saw your revision comment about the mysterious revert on the link Ann Walker to the old page name. Our edits were about 12 minutes apart. My guess is you began your edit before I did and I finished my edit before you did. Hence an overwrite due to collision. No worries as you sorted it out. I've been making my way through pages re-linking to the renamed page after my first page move. Any way. Hi *waves* and bye. Cheers. Kimdorris (talk) 10:34, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! That makes sense. Pyxis Solitary (yak). L not Q. 10:47, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

About the edit on the Bisexual flag meanings

Just wanted to drop in and thank you for correcting my change as opposed to reverting the changes entirely. Thanks a ton! 44Nifty (talk) 02:14, 30 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I appreciate your kind words. And I could tell that you are interested in what is best for the article. Pyxis Solitary (yak). L not Q. 08:56, 30 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for June 15

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Black triangle (badge), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Romani.

    Sian Heder's "See also" section

I notice you added the "See also" section and its current contents to Sian Heder's article. Shouldn't that just contain the link for directors, of which she is one? The one for films could then go in the article for the specific film, since I think all of her features have articles. TGGP (talk) 02:11, 12 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

She directed Tallulah. Tallulah is classified as an LGBT-related movie. Heder is just one of the many female directors who has directed a similar movie and whose bio contains this information -- that is intended for the benefit of Wikipedia readers. It's a feature that educates the general public about the many LGBT-related films that have been directed by women, of which Heder is one. Pyxis Solitary (yak). Sunset flag

What was with that "Sunset flag" thing on Lesbian flag? I offered to replace it if the anon gave me a good reference, but never heard back. Couldn't find anything with Google. Cheers Adakiko (talk) 18:24, 28 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It's all stemming from hives on Tumblr and Twitter. Some people think that just because they favor something and find a niche that shares their POV, it instantly becomes fact. Plus some flag and symbol inventors try to legitimize their creations by putting it on Wikipedia. Cheers back atcha. Pyxis Solitary (yak). L not Q. 00:51, 29 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

    Help with editing

Hi, I could use some help with editing, do you think that you could help me out? I thought that I would ask you for help since you are an experienced editor. I would be very thankful to get some help as it is very hard to do all this editing by myself. Davidgoodheart (talk) 15:42, 3 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry to not reply sooner. I was out of town. What do you need help with? Pyxis Solitary (yak). L not Q. 08:21, 5 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for responding. I need help adding entries to lists, sources to articles, and fixing a table that is currently screwed up. Davidgoodheart (talk) 00:23, 7 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Are you going to be be able to help me with editing? Yesterday I was informed about sometime bad which could have an effect on my editing for a short while. So this is a time when I could really use some help. Davidgoodheart (talk) 17:02, 8 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I will try. It took me a while to get the hang of creating and editing lists, and I performed the trial-and-error in my Sandbox. I created most of my early lists offline and then added them to my Sandbox, and fixed what came out wrong. I kept a template of table templates until I was able to create them without using the sandbox first. Can you link the diff that caused you a problem for your editing? Pyxis Solitary (yak). L not Q. 23:23, 8 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The first thing is see if you can fix the first table in this article here List of people who disappeared mysteriously at sea as it is all screwed up. Davidgoodheart (talk) 04:57, 9 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I simplified the table markup. All you have to do from now on is adjust the width of a column if it becomes necessary. The reason the layout of the 1970–present section is not 100% identical to the others is because the citation numbers are in triple digits and when a row contains three triple-digit citations they will widen the references column, which then slightly pushes the fifth and fourth columns. The way to control this is to use "| rowspan=1 |", "| rowspan=2 |", etc. -- but then all the "! width="x" markups will need to be changed to "! scope="col". Pyxis Solitary (yak). L not Q. 13:37, 9 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    Great job! Davidgoodheart (talk) 14:49, 9 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Please add David Wanklyn to the List of people who disappeared mysteriously at sea. Davidgoodheart (talk) 15:07, 9 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. I did. You can take it from there. Pyxis Solitary (yak). L not Q. 10:07, 10 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Please add Franz Eckerle to the List of people who disappeared. Davidgoodheart (talk) 17:34, 11 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't mind helping with the list. And I didn't mind adding a new row. But I have other lists that I monitor and have an interest in. It's fairly simple to do .... just copy what I did for the David Wanklyn entry, substitute the content in each cell with info about another individual, then paste the new row to the list.
