Signatures may ''not'' have templates in them. I would expect someone who has been around for a while to know this. Please clean up any mess you've made. Thanks. --[[User:MZMcBride|MZMcBride]] ([[User talk:MZMcBride|talk]]) 05:07, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

If you are here to ask a question about my edits, please read some F.A.Qs first.
  1. Q: You added a tag too fast when I uploaded it! I was in the middle of adding source/license/rationale when you tagged it!
    A: That's OK, just remove the tag, and get it. It was just bad luck that I checked right when your image was at the top of the list. As a tip, just try to fill it out correctly the first time, to avoid this happening in the future.
  2. Q: Your bot keeps adding {{orphan}} to pages that are disambiguations such as Habermas!
    A: Unfortunately, that is a Pywikipedia error. I have no control over that, sorry. The reason is that it uses a special disamiguation template that Pywikipedia does not recognize.
  3. Q: I found an orphaned page and I want to know how I can help this page not be orphaned anymore.
    A: You could try going to related pages, such as the month/day/year of birth and linking from there (if it is a notable person). You also might want to check out Wikipedia:WikiProject Orphanage, that has some tips on how to make it not orphan.
  4. Q: When will your bot remove the template after I add links?/How many links does it take to remove the template?/I have made the page not orphan anymore. Could you remove the template please?
    A: My bot does not remove the template, it only adds it. If it is no longer orphan, go ahead and remove it yourself.
  5. Q: Your bot made a mistake, it removed (link) when it should not have!
    A: This, unfortunately, is not my problem. I am using a default pywikipedia script, interwiki.py. Please talk to one of the pywikipedia developers about it, as I am not looking at and approving any of its edits.
  6. Q: I am having some problems joining the Account creation mailing list, could you help me?
    A: I did make the tool, yes, but I actually am not a mailing list admin. I am just a member.
  7. Q: Confused about my ++, +-, +=, etc. edit summaries?
    A: Key: ++= Support/keep. +-= Oppose/delete. += = Neutral. +*= Comment. +>= Move.

I was wondering, how do I join this? I'm quite interested. Thanks TheMoridian 08:56, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Script help

Hi, I've noticed how your bot basically works, as in, it somehow monitors whether the user is active or not based on edit times and idle times. Anyway, I was wondering if there was a way to adapt this script to make a change to more then just one page, meaning, currently, it changes the text on a specific page from offline to online and vise versa where appropriate. I was wondering if you would be able to alter the code to do basically(meaning the text changes would be different) the same thing to other pages.

In short, I want to make a few things for myself automated.— dαlusT@lk / Improve 17:38, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
