As Desired

Sir, User:TopGun and User:Mar4d having understood the rules as explained by Mar4d, I request your valuable comments at the RFC: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Mukti_Bahini#RfC:_Should_the_revelations.2Fadmission_by_Prime_Minister_Modi_be_included_in_the_article.3FTripWire talk 20:54, 9 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/TripWire, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

2015 Gurdaspur Attack

You are trying to put your country's notion into a global and impartial source of knowledge; that is wikipedia and which is unacceptable. Umbrella 4343 (talk) 18:50, 2 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You dont know a dang about my country. However, you pushing an allegation which is still unproven regarding an incident which is still under investigation, as a 'fact' is surely detrimental to world's largest and bestest encyclopedia, and hence will be challenged. Like I said in the comments while reverting you, this isnt the Mumbai Attacks where atleast India was able to produce evidence (in the shape of confessions etc).—TripWire talk 19:28, 2 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thankyou for your kind words. I am sure this beer will get me on my feet pretty soon:). All I miss, now that I am unable to edit, is the fun one can have in editing this wonderful encyclopedia and contribute for its betterment.—TripWire talk 10:07, 12 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Harassment

Hy there @Future Perfect at Sunrise:. Just wanted to request if you can stop him from harassing me again and again, please? The ban you placed me on ended on 3 Jan '16 (3 months ago). Even before that and especially since I became active again, I have been editing more articles not related to my ban, but he will just not let it go. Instead, he is again trying the old tactics of harassment and hounding. Thanks—TripWire ʞlɐʇ 02:43, 5 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sigh. I'm not "harassing" you. You just jumped right back into the kind of edits and behavior which led to your ban in the first place. I'm just pointing that out.Volunteer Marek (talk) 03:28, 5 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Out of the 100 edits I made since 30 January 2016 (a month after my ban ended) only two ([1], [2]) were on the topic related to my ban, but you come barging in accusing me of 'jumping right back into the kind of edits and behavior which led to your ban in the first place'?? That's outright harassment, sir! Instead of discussing the issue at the talk pages and resolving the matter, you did nothing but harassed me by hurling allegations. —TripWire ʞlɐʇ 03:50, 5 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

3RR

You know you just broke 3RR on the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 article, right? How about you self-revert? Volunteer Marek (talk) 05:37, 9 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Reverting a controversial edit for which a talk page section was opened by none other but myself on 8 March with no response from either of the three editors and reverting one edit which constitutes blanket reversion? No, I dont think so.
  • I even warned one of the editors for his edit in the hope that he will discuss the issue but got no response from him either on the article's talk page or to the warning. Instead he removed the warning and continued with his edits. i.e he saw both the talk section (as I pinged him) and the warning, but he still chose to ignore all the efforts to discuss the issue.
  • Both the editors alternatively added the same image in turns without giving any valid reason either in the edit summary or at the discussion at the talk page. That to me looks like WP:TAGTEAM and WP:GAMING the system to avoid a 3rr.
  • Despite all the efforts to get the editors to discuss the issue no effort was made by them to address the issue. You too replied to at the talk page once you were specifically informed about the discussion after I reverted your edit.
  • BTW, thanks for the heads up though.—TripWire ʞlɐʇ 06:42, 9 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
So that's a "no"? Volunteer Marek (talk) 07:15, 9 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! There is a DR/N request you may have interest in.

This message is being sent to let you know of a discussion at the Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard regarding a content dispute discussion you may have participated in. Content disputes can hold up article development and make editing difficult for editors. You are not required to participate, but you are both invited and encouraged to help this dispute come to a resolution. Please join us to help form a consensus. Thank you! Indo Pak 1965 war

I have been observing the activity of MBlaze rather suspiciously on different articles, Indo-Pak 1965 war being one of them. Can he be nominated for a block for being a POV pusher? ThanksDelusionMBT (talk) 18:13, 27 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for approaching me, but as you know at Wikipedia our activities are not hidden, so everyone can form an opinion regarding another editor. If you think, and its your own opinion, that the person in question is a POV pusher, you may take the matter to ANI. Here I will also suggest that you should refrain from approaching other editors regarding the conduct of editors you may be in conflict with as it is undesirable. Instead you may ping an Admin for the same. WP:CANVASS clearly forbids this. Thanks—TripWire ︢ ︢ ︡ ︢ ︡ ︢ ︡ ︢ ︡ ︡ ︢ ︡  ʞlɐʇ 18:53, 27 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you trip wire, it surely is a learning experience for me can you please tell me how can I take the matter to ANI?DelusionMBT (talk) 20:00, 27 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I see that you have been subjected to an SPI. If that's what you are planning to report, I'd suggest that if you are not a sock, you should relax as it's within everyone's right to initiate an investigation if he/she has credible evidence. You can raise your concerns at the SPI though.—TripWire ︢ ︢ ︡ ︢ ︡ ︢ ︡ ︢ ︡ ︡ ︢ ︡  ʞlɐʇ 20:17, 27 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for April 10

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Angel (Taher Shah song), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Eye to Eye (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
