The 2013 Women's World Championship will be the 16th such event hosted by the International Ice Hockey Federation. The competition also serves as qualifications for the 2015 competition.
Top Division
The Top Division will be contested between eight teams from April 2 to April 9, 2013 in Ottawa, Canada. Group A and playoff games will be played at Scotiabank Place while Group B and relegation games will be played at Nepean Sportsplex.[1]

The Division I competition is being held in two groups. Group A games will be played from April 7 to April 13, 2013 in Stavanger, Norway, and Group B will be played from April 8 to April 14, 2013 in Strasbourg or Rouen, France.

The Division II competition is being held in two groups. Group A games will be played from April 8 to April 14, 2013 in Auckland, New Zealand and Group B will be played in Puigcerdà, Spain. An additional qualification group was won by Turkey in December, 2012 in Izmir, Turkey.
