The 2018–19 Japan Figure Skating Championships were held in Osaka, in December 2018. It was the 87th edition of the event. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing.

On 25 December 2018, the Japan Skating Federation published its selections for the 2019 Four Continents Championships, 2019 Winter Universiade, 2019 World Junior Championships, and 2019 World Championships.[5]

World Championships[edit]

The 2019 World Figure Skating Championships will be held in Saitama, Japan, 18-24 March 2019.
