Carlos Alcaraz is the defending champion.[1]

Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic are in contention for the ATP No. 1 singles ranking. Djokovic will regain the top ranking unless he loses in the first round and Alcaraz successfully defends the title.

This will be the final tournament for former two-time quarterfinalist, Wimbledon semifinalist and world no. 8 John Isner.[2].
