Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! is an upcoming mobile endless runner game, under development and to be published by King under an exclusive license of Activision.[4][5] The game has references to earlier games in the series[6] and was first soft-launched in select Asian countries on April 22, 2020.[7] In September 2020, a form was announced and published on the official website for registering users to test the game in the beta phase. A Blue Hyena skin for Crash, like the one from Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, was billed as a bonus for pre-registering.[8]

Plot

Doctor Neo Cortex begins stealing power gems to activate portals to different locations around the world and time, so that he, and his lackeys including ant drones, crabs, Araknids and Lab Assistants mutated with nitro, frost, inferno and oxide mutagen and others, can dominate the world and multiverse. With the help of his sister Coco, Crash must defeat them with a serum, bomb, raygun or bazooka, retrieve the gems and return peace to the world and multiverse.[9]
