The Micrococcales are an order of bacteria in the phylum Actinomycetota.[1][2]

Phylogeny

The currently accepted taxonomy is based on the List of Prokaryotic names with Standing in Nomenclature[2] and the phylogeny is based on whole-genome sequences.[4][a]

Notes

  1. ^ Rarobacteraceae is not included in this phylogenetic tree, but it is close to and may eventually be synonymized with Jonesiaceae.[4]
