Maivan (Persian: مايوان, also Romanized as Māīvān, Mayvan, and Māyvān)[3] is a village in Shah Jahan Rural District of the Central District of Faruj County, North Khorasan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,629 in 750 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 3,326 people in 981 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 3,604 people in 1,130 households; it was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
