Vakwadi is a village in the Kundapur taluk of Udupi district. As of 2011, Vakwadi has a total population of 2763 people consisting of 1469 male and 215 female residents. The village occupies a total area of 533.19 hecatres with a population density of 5.182 people per hectare. As of 2011, the total literacy rate was 75.32% which was higher than the national average of 59.5%.[1]
