Avihang (Template:Lang-fa, also Romanized as Āvīhang and Avīhang; also known as Āb-i-Hang)[3] is a village in Zhavarud-e Gharbi Rural District of Kalatrazan District, Sanandaj County, Kurdistan province, Iran. The village is populated by Kurds.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,886 in 497 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,563 people in 484 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,372 people in 432 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
