Shalyar Rural District (Template:Lang-fa) is in Uraman District of Sarvabad County, Kurdistan province, Iran.
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 5,574 in 1,220 households.[3] There were 4,729 inhabitants in 1,240 households at the following census of 2011.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 4,056 in 1,160 households. The largest of its 10 villages was Zhivar, with 1,282 people.[2]
