Jebba town is a Yoruba city in Kwara State, Nigeria.[1] Few years ago, the Supreme Court of Nigeria ruled that Jebba had no connection with the Ilorin Emirate and therefore couldn't be under the jurisdiction of the Emirate. Yoruba people share no part of Jebba town with any tribe or ethnic, therefore Jebba is a purely Yoruba town under Yoruba ruling. It has views of the River Niger and has an estimated population of 22,411 as of 2007. The name of the current king of Jebba is Oba Abdulkadir Adebara.[2]
