Cabancalan is a barangay of Mandaue, Cebu, Philippines.

Geography

Cabancalan is about three kilometers from the centre of Mandaue. It is bordered to the north and northeast by Canduman, to the northwest by Talamban in Cebu City, to the southwest by Banilad in Cebu City, to the south by Banilad in Mandaue, to the southeast by Bakilid and to the east by Casuntingan.

Tourism

Located in the barangay is a massive cave covered in moss. It is locally known as "Bitoy" and is 20 feet deep and has running water inside. According to local folklore, there are unfamiliar creatures lurking inside never to have been seen by human eyes. This isn't advertised as a tourist spot though and has not been developed for tourism purposes.[3]
