Sanderao is a village in Pali district of Rajasthan state in India. It lies 16 km north west of Bali town. It was founded by Yasobhadra in the tenth century. This place was governed by Sisodia rulers of Udaipur[citation needed]. Today Sanderao is an important junction of many road routes of the area. The nearest railway station is Falna. Sanderao is located at important junction linking four major roads. The main important economic activity is agriculture and animal husbandry. This place is also famous for its migrant community which is spread all over country and abroad and done very well in business and trades. Sanderao Jain Teerth here is around 2,500 years old.[1] There is a holy 5000 years old pilgrimage " Nimbeshvara Mahadeva ".
Location
For Sanderao the nearby railway station of Falna is 13 km away from where buses and taxis are available. The public bus – stand is 200 meters from the Famous Sanderao Rawla (Palace) & temple (Jain Teerth). Buses and cars can go up to the Rawla and temple.

Sanderao Rawla
Sanderao Rawla is a palace of Sanderao village. Rawla are supposed to be of 61 rooms building located in the centre of the city where Thakore Joint family used to stay. It was built by Maharaja Sajjan Singhji. The construction began in 1886 and it was completed 1897. Sanderao Palace has 61 Rooms. King used to appoint few Rajputs Thakore (Noble) singh to collect taxes on their behalf & render same to King, Usually Thakore used to be eldest son in Family.
Royal Family of Sanderao
Sanderao is the Thikana exist in Gorwar region of Rajasthan. Sanderao was the biggest jagir of Godwar and also known as Capital of Godwar. Sanderao is the town of 13th Century. First Sanderao was the Thikana of Chauhan's till 16th Century but in 16th century Sanderao was attacked by Udaipur. Present Sanderao’s royal family was of Ranawat who migrated from Udaipur. They defeated the Chauhans of Sanderao in sixteenth century and establish the Rule of Ranawats in Gorwar Region. Maharajah Sardul Singhji was the first Ranawat King of Sanderao. Maharaj Sardul Singhji was the son of Maharana Udai Singh of Mewar and he was the younger brother of Maharana Pratap. Maharana Sardul Singhji sacrificed his life in the battle of Haldighati just 3 months after his coronation as a ruler of Sanderao for the honour and pride of Mewar.
In Twentieth century Sanderao progressed on its peak under the rule of Thakur Sahab Sajjan Singhji. Thakur Sahab Sajjan Singhji had three sons and one daughter. The last ruler of Sanderao was Thakur Sahab Takhat Singhji (B.A, L.L.B). Thakur Sahab Takhat Singhji had four sons and four daughters.
Predecessors and Genealogy Tree A↓ A↑ Maharaj Sardul SinghJi, younger son of Maharana of Mewar Udai SinghJi and younger brother of Maharana Pratap of Udaipur, got the Jagir of Sanderao (84 Villages and Rupees 84000 Patta) in 1576, but just after three months of that, he sacrificed his life in the battle of Haldighati in 1576. Thakur Sahab of Sanderao & Kanku Chopra Bond
When Tejraj_Dedavat & Sagarmalji Kanku Joint Family had invited Maharajah Umaid Singhji, first thackers of sanderao said they will like the privilege to arrange stay of Maharajah in their Rawla. But since Kanku Chopras had very close friendship with thakur sahab, that they insisted that they will construct a haveli for stay of Maharajah & thakur sahab placed no objection . In fact all know that friendship of Thakur sahab of Sanderao & Tejraj_Dedavat (Kanku_Chopra) was so much, that whenever Thackers best friend Tejrajji parivar needed support, Thakur sahab of Sanderao where always there. Thakur sahab & Nagar Seth Kanku Chopra played major role in Development of Sanderao & helping Basic Layman. In Those days Thakur Sahab Sajjan Singhji of Sanderao had been famous for their generosity & helping basic layman.
Shri S Pratapji Kapurjiakaria (Sakariya) - prominent Jain elder of Sanderao
Shri Pratapji Kapurji Sakaria was a prominent member of the Jain community of Sanderao. He belonged to the Porwal community of Jains and was well known in Sanderao and entire Godward for his charity, prominent role in community affairs and generosity. Shri Pratapji Kapurji Sakaria family sponsored the diksha of Muni Shri Kanhaiyalalji Maharaj Saheb, who was one of the most scholarly Jain monks of Sthanakwasi Jain community of the twentieth century, and was known to have written treatises on ancient Jain texts called the Agamas. He also maintained great relations with the Thakurs of Sanderao as well as other communities including the Oswals, and was well respected by all.
Shri Pratapji Kapurji's descendants now live in various parts of India such as Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Indore, and also abroad including the US and the UK. His family is well known and commonly referred to as the PK family. He was a generous and charitable man and the people of Sanderao still remember him fondly for his many great qualities.

- Jain Temple
Sanderao Teerth is around 2,500 years old.[2] Originally principal deity of this temple was Parshwanath bhagwan but when in year 912(969 V.S.) temple was renovated and idol of Mahaveer Swami was established as moolnayak. In 16th century during which the idol of Shri Shantinath Bhagwan was established as the moolnayak. This idol is a white-coloured 75-cm tall idol of Shantinath in Padmasan posture.[3]
- Leopard Safari
Now this area is well known for leopard safari, many migratory birds visit near by Jawai Dam in winters and there many other activities are operated for tourists in this area. Some people also called it as "untouched beauty of rajasthan"
