Sumoto Castle (洲本城, Sumoto-jō) is a castle with reconstructed keep in Sumoto on Awaji Island, Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. The area is an Historic Site.[1]

Fortification began in 1525, with remodelling in stone in the 1580s. The castle was abolished in the 1630s. In 1928 the keep was rebuilt in reinforced concrete.[2]

The Castle was listed as one of the Continued Top 100 Japanese Castles in 2017.[3]
