Harris Academy Battersea is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located near Battersea Park in the Battersea area of the London Borough of Wandsworth, England.[1]

History

It was first established as Battersea Park School in 1986 and when it gained specialist status as a Technology College it was renamed Battersea Technology College. The school was awarded a second specialist status as a Performing Arts College in 2007, and changed back to its original name in 2008. In 2009 it became a foundation school.[2] In September 2014 Battersea Park School converted to academy status and was renamed Harris Academy Battersea. The school is part of the Harris Federation.[3]

Programs

Harris Academy Battersea offers GCSEs and BTECs as programmes of study for pupils,[4] while students in the sixth form have the option to study from a range of A Levels and further BTECs.[5]
