Krnješevci (Serbian Cyrillic: Крњешевци) is a village in Serbia. It is situated in the Stara Pazova municipality, in the Srem District, Vojvodina province. The village has a Serb ethnic majority and its population numbering 1,025 people (2002 census).
Name
The name of the settlement in Serbian is in the plural, and therefore it is grammatically correct to refer to it as "Krnješevci are" instead of "Krnješevci is". A hypothetical singular version of the name would be Krnješevac.
