"How Many Times Can We Say Goodbye?" is a 1983 song by Luther Vandross and Dionne Warwick. The ballad was issued as a single in support of Vandross' album Busy Body, and Warwick's How Many Times Can We Say Goodbye, both of which were released in 1983. The single was a top ten R&B hit on Billboard's Hot Black Singles chart, and a top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100.[1]
