The Inishowen Independent is a local newspaper in County Donegal, Ireland. The paper was launched in March 2007 and is printed on a Tuesday. The paper covers the Inishowen peninsula area in the north of the county and competes against the Inish Times and the Inishowen edition of the Derry Journal. The paper is the only paper on the peninsula that is '100% Inishowen owned'.
