Iru Thuruvam (transl. Two Poles) also transliterated as Iru Dhuruvam, is a 1971 Tamil-language dacoit film, produced by P. S. Veerappa and directed by S. Ramanathan. The film had Sivaji Ganesan and Padmini in the lead, with R. Muthuraman, Rajasree, Pandari Bai, P. S. Veerappa and V. Nagaiah in other significant roles.[1] The film was a remake of 1961 Bollywood film Gunga Jumna, starring Dilip Kumar and Vyjayanthimala in the lead.[2]
