William Patrick McGuire (born February 14, 1964 in Omaha, Nebraska) is an American former professional baseball catcher for the Seattle Mariners of the Major League Baseball (MLB).

McGuire was drafted by the Seattle Mariners out of the University of Nebraska in the 1st round (27th overall) of the 1985 MLB draft. He made his MLB debut in 1988 and also played in the MLB in 1989. He played his final professional season in 1992 for the Single-A Peoria Chiefs in the Chicago Cubs organization. He is currently a NCAA baseball umpire.[1]
