Beatrice De Alba (/ˈdeɪ ˈælbə/; Spanish: [de ˈal.βa]; born Beatrice Marie De Alba; August 10, 1964) is a Mexican-American hair stylist and Make-up Artist. She began her career as a Make-up Artist in Los Angeles, California working in both film and television. She soon gravitated toward her love for wigs and period hair design. As the Hair Department Head on the critically acclaimed film Frida (2002), she won an Academy Award and a BAFTA Award. She has also been nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for the made-for-television film Liz & Dick (2012).
