Beatrice De Alba (/ˈdeɪ ˈælbə/; Spanish: [de ˈal.βa]; born Beatrice Marie De Alba; August 10, 1964) is a Mexican-American hair stylist and Make-up Artist. She began her career as a Make-up Artist in Los Angeles, California working in both film and television.[1] She soon gravitated toward her love for wigs and period hair design. As the Hair Department Head on the critically acclaimed film Frida (2002), she won an Academy Award[2] and a BAFTA Award. She has also been nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for the made-for-television film Liz & Dick (2012).
