The St. Paul Minnesota Temple

As of December 31, 2019, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints reported 33,276 members in 8 stakes, 75 congregations (52 wards and 23 branches), 29 Family History Centers, one mission, and one temple in Minnesota.[1]

Stakes are located in Anoka, Duluth, Lakeville, Minneapolis, Oakdale, Rochester, St Cloud, and St Paul.

History

In 1875, the first official LDS Church congregation in Minnesota was organized in Freeborn County.[2]

In 2020, the LDS Church canceled services and other public gatherings indefinitely in response to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.[3]

Temple

The St. Paul Minnesota Temple was dedicated on January 9, 2000 by President Gordon B. Hinckley.
