"The Night Is Still Young" is a single by rock singer Billy Joel released as a new song from his greatest hits album Greatest Hits - Volume I and II. It is the second new song from the album, the first one being "You're Only Human (Second Wind)", which peaked at #9 on the US charts. "The Night Is Still Young" single peaked lower at #34. This song is featured on Disc 2 (1978–1985) of the album.

The video for the song features mainly the story of a man who has gone on a business trip leaving his wife behind. This correlates with the song's lyrics, which speak of a man whose priorities are shifting away from his musical career and towards marriage and family.

The music video was directed by Neil Tardio (https://www.dga.org/Craft/VisualHistory/Interviews/Neil-Tardio.aspx)
