Career

Rob Sorcher currently oversees Cartoon Network Studios[6] in Los Angeles, where he executive produces artist-driven content for worldwide distribution to 192 countries and 370 million homes, and manages all content including original series such as Steven Universe[7] and Adventure Time [8], CN Games[9][10] and the flagship CN app.

Sorcher's career worked with several advertisement companies such as Grey Advertising, Griffin-Bacal, and Benton & Bowles.

He also worked for AMC Network as its executive vice president of programming and production.[11] He was credited with leading the network to tremendous growth, thanks to his introduction of scripted originals and Emmy-award winning series such as Mad Men[12][13][14], Breaking Bad, both named by the New York Times among the 20 best TV dramas since The Sopranos[15], and the mini-series Broken Trail[16]

Prior to AMC, Sorcher was EVP and GM of USA Network for a short time before he was replaced by the sudden appointment of Doug Herzog, who was named President of the network in 2001.[17]
