Hilary Dawson

Hilary Joan Dawson (born Shebbear 3 October 1964) is a British Anglican priest. Since 2018, she has served as Archdeacon of Gloucester[1] in the Church of England Diocese of Gloucester. [2]

Dawson was educated at the University of Wales, the University of the West of England and the University of Exeter.[3]. She was formerly a social worker then a teacher. Dawson was ordained in the Church of England as a deacon in 2008 and as a priest in 2009. She served her title at Thorverton between 2008 and 2010. After a further curacy at Brampford Speke she was at Colyton until her appointment as Archdeacon.[4]
