Southwest University of Visual Arts (SUVA) is a private art college based in Tucson, Arizona with a branch campus in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Founded in 1983, SUVA was formerly known as The Art Center Design College. It is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. SUVA offers Bachelor's degrees and Master of Fine Arts in the arts. The institution is transitioning from a for-profit organization to a not-for-profit one;[1] the U.S. Department of Education currently classifies the Tucson campus as non-profit[2] and the Albuquerque campus as for-profit.[3]
