Breaksea Point is claimed as the southernmost point of mainland Wales. Breaksea Point is at the edge of Gileston's Limpert Bay. The island of Flat Holm, part of Cardiff, is about 1 km further south). It is currently disputed whether Breaksea Point or nearby Rhoose Point is the more southern part of the mainland as by latitude calculation Rhoose point may be a few metres further south.

Location

Breaksea Point is located in the Vale of Glamorgan and is part of the Heritage Coast of South Wales.
