Rupal Patel is an Indian television actress best known for portraying Kokila in the drama series Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. Currently, she is appearing as Minakshi Rajvansh in Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke.

Early life and Career

Patel was trained in acting at the National School of Drama in New Delhi.[1] She owns a theatre group by the name Panorama Art Theatres which is involved in children's plays[citation needed]. She has a degree in Commerce as well[citation needed]. Rupal has worked in few films with director Shyam Benegal.[2]

Apart from this Patel has featured in a lot of special appearances in various shows. She is always chosen for portraying strong grey characters. She was seen as a hardcore warden in one of the episodes of C.A.T.S. which was an Indian remake of TV series Charlie's Angels. She was also featured in few episodes of Crime Patrol.

From 2017, Patel works on the Swachh Bharath project and is an ambassador for it. Twice, she received honour from Indian PM Narendra Modi for her works.[3]
