15 March – Uzbekistan confirms first COVID-19 case, as a result, the kindgardens, schools, and borders were closed.[2][3]

  • March 22 - Uzbekistan ordered companies in Tashkent to do remote working, as well as making protective masks mandatory.[4][5]
  • March 27 - first death was reported in Uzbekistan[6][7]
