The guest artist(s) must attempt to guess SEE-cret songers who are "good" and "bad" without hearing them sing. SEE-cret songers must partake on every round, at which they can receive help and advice from the SING-vestigators.

After eliminating one to two SEE-cret songers in each round, they would perform using real voice at the stage of truth. The last SEE-cret songer standing will do duet-perform by guest artist(s).

Rewards

The winning good singer(s) receives an encore performance in the first to second seasons; and then a potential recording contract and a single under Monkey Bone Records and Warner Music Malaysia [ms] in the third season;[9][16] while the winning bad singer(s) gets RM 3,000 ($750).[2][17]

Rounds

There were six individuals of SEE-cret songers standing on the platform with its aliases to keep their identities concealed until its initial performance.[17]

Singer's visual (seasons 1–3)
  • The guest artist(s) have time to observe and examine each SEE-cret songer based on their appearance. After this, they will play a muted video of each SEE-cret songer that reveals only 0.3 seconds of their singing voice as an additional hint.[MY 1][MY 2]
  • Each SEE-cret songer is given two identities – as a good singer and as a bad singer. Only one of them is their real identity.[MY 3]
Singer's lip-sync (seasons 1–3)
  • Every SEE-cret songer performs a lip-sync of a song. Good singers lip-sync to their own voice, while bad singers lip-sync to other's voices.[MY 1][MY 2]
  • The SEE-cret songer lip-syncs to the good singer's voice, then the bad singer's voice comes in the middle of the performance.[MY 3]
Singer's evidence (seasons 1–3)
  • For 30 seconds, three randomly selected panelists must hear the SEE-cret songer's singing voice using a headphone. Afterwards, he or she must defend the SEE-cret songer and convince the guest artist(s) to choose him/her as the final SEE-cret songer.[MY 1][MY 2]
  • A proof of each SEE-cret songer's singing ability (i.e. photo, video, certificates, etc) is shown on the screen. Good singers have their own evidences while bad singers had their evidences fabricated.[MY 2][MY 3]
  • The hosts of the show have randomly assigned clues about the SEE-cret songer. The guest artist(s) must choose a clue for each SEE-cret songer.[MY 3]
Singer's verdict (seasons 1, 3)
  • The guest artist(s) must have then 60 seconds to make an interview to the remaining SEE-cret songers before making the final decision, at which point is depending on every SING-vestigators' opinion and/or an audience's majority voting.[MY 1][MY 3]
