Members of the New South Wales Legislative Council, 1988–1991
Members of the New South Wales Legislative Council who served in the 49th Parliament were elected at the 1984 and 1988 elections. As members serve eight-year terms, half of the Council was elected in 1884 and did not face re-election in 1988, and the members elected in 1988 did not face re-election until 1995.[1][2] The President was Johno Johnson.[3]

- ^ a b c Labor MLC Jack Garland resigned on 9 April 1990. Jeff Shaw was appointed to the resulting casual vacancy on 1 May.
- ^ a b c Labor MLC Deirdre Grusovin resigned on 23 June 1990 in order to contest a by-election for the Legislative Assembly seat of Heffron. Former MLC Dorothy Isaksen was appointed to the resulting casual vacancy on 4 July.
