"Love All Over Me" is a song by American recording artist Monica. The Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox produced "Love All Over Me" rounds out Still Standing as another laid back, yet soulful track filled with admiration.[1] The song was sent to rhythmic, urban, and urban ac airplay as the album's second single in the United States on May 31, 2010. "Love All Over Me" is a down-tempo R&B piece.

Critics received the song positively. Although the song peaked at 58 on the Billboard Hot 100, the song also hit number two on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. The charting gave Monica her fourteenth top 10 on the chart. The song's accompanying music video features Monica pursuing her love interest in marriage.

Music video

The Chris Robinson directed music video for "Love All Over Me" premiered on July 15, 2010 on 106 & Park. The plot of the video is Monica choosing between marrying her old love played by rapper Maino and her new love played by Shannon Brown. After the premiere of the video, fans could vote who Monica would pick as her love interest, resulting in the viewer's choice video being premiered July 23, 2010 on Vevo.[2][3] The video peaked at number 2 on 106 & Park, and spent twenty-four days on the show's countdown. The music video also received heavy rotation of VH1's sister channel VH1 Soul.

Chart performance

The song debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart at number 94, and then peaked at number 58 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song charted at number two on the US R&B/Hip-Hop chart. The song also hit number one on the Urban Adult Contemporary Mediabase[4] and Billboard Hot Adult R&B[citation needed] charts, making it the second consecutive single from Still Standing to achieve this. After reaching the Top 10 on the US R&B/Hip-Hop chart, it became Monica's second single from Still Standing to become a Top 10 hit on that chart, a feat achieved by all of her previous studio albums with the exception of The Makings of Me. "Love All Over Me" also became Monica's twelfth top ten hit of her career on the US R&B/Hip-Hop chart.
