The Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host is an award annually presented by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) and Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS). It was first awarded at the 42nd Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony, held in 2015 and it is given in honor of a talk show host that is in the entertainment nature.[1]
The award replaced the more generic Outstanding Talk Show Host category, which in 2014 was split into two different categories: this award and Outstanding Informative Talk Show Host.[1]
