Khalifan (Kurdish: خەلیفان ,Xelîfan),[1][2] is a town located in Iraqi Kurdistan's Erbil Province, near Soran. It is 80 kilometres, northeast of the Erbil. The majority of populations are Kurds.
Its most famous places are Geli Ali Beg Waterfall and Korek mountain. The major religion in Khalifan is Islam.
