Sadura is a village located in Anantnag district in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It has a railway station which lies on Banihal-Anantnag railway line.^[1]^[2]

District Anantnag Tehsil Anantnag., Police station Saddar Police station Anantnag, Pin code 192211. Kashmiri is the local language here. People also speak English and Urdu.

Occupation

Most of the people of Sadura are Associated with Walnut Business, Agriculture production is very low as most part of cultivable land came under railways. Apple gardens are also source of income.

Sadura has a literacy rate of more than 60℅(There are three renowned Schools namely: Salfia Muslim institute, aziz memorial institute,leads institute of virtual Education, govt.primary school, govt girls primary school and one Govt High school, has been catering education to the villagers.

Transport

Sadura has one Railway Station which connects Sadura with Srinagar, Baramulla and Banihal.

Sadura does not have an airport. Nearest airport is Srinagar International Airport with scheduled flights from New Delhi and Jammu. Srinagar International Airport is 66 km away from Sadura. Sadura has famous cricket ground. Sadura is beautiful village full of springs..

By Rail and Road

Sadura Railway Station and Anantnag Railway Station are the nearby railway stations to Sadura. However Jammu Tawi railway station is major railway station 243 km near to Sadura. Sadura is 5 km away from main town Anantnag, it just takes 15 minutes drive from Anantnag to reach Sadura. if you not carrying private vehicle you can board commercial vehicle near Janglat Mandi to reach Sadura via Kamad, other ways to reach is to board bus at KMD Anantnag and depart at Vessu take a cab from Vessu it will take 5 minutes to reach Sadura railway station. Another way is take Train from Anantnag and Depart at Sadura . But I will suggest you to choose Janglat Mandi Kamad road to reach Sadura. Author R Khanday working in MNC Delhi
