I Can See Your Voice Malaysia is a television mystery music game show broadcast by TV3. It is the Malaysian version of the South Korean namesaked program, which is in Malay language.[1][2]
History
Season 1 (2018)
ICSYVMY commenced its debut broadcast by NTV7 on August 8, 2018.[2][1] It sought the appearance of guest artist Cakra Khan (who he played recently in the Indonesian counterpart); as well as Haqiem Rusli stealing the microphone from bad singer Syamsul Nordin.[3][4]
Season 2 (2019)
ICSYVMY's broadcast was transferred to TV3 since this season.[5][6] Sean Lee became the new host, replacing Alvin Chong . The eleventh episode sought the appearance of good singer Ermizi Muhammad, who he died eleven days later;[7] as well as Ajai becomes the first victim of picking a solo bad singer in a duet-performance.[8] Host Mark Adam was also played in the final episode.
Season 3 (2020)
On the first half, game mechanics have now resemble the original seventh season.[9] Newcomer Yusry Abdul Halim joined as SING-vestigator.[10] Miss Universe Malaysia 1992 Adibah Noor slammed Erra Fazira and the show itself for eliminating good singer Adli Hanafi Rusli, which allegedly for body shaming.[11][12] It went on to return for special Eid al-Fitr-themed episode played by guest artist Ramlah Ram .[13]
On the second half, Shuk Sahar's nephew and also bad singer Shyukur Ashrey was appeared.[14] Amy Mastura becomes the second victim of picking a solo bad singer in a duet-performance.
Production
Development
Media Prima Berhad was first announced the development of the series in June 2018. It is produced by Primeworks Studios. The show's staff is commissioned by director Lucent Chong; joined by executive producer Mas Ayu Binti Ali.[15] Episode tapings were took place at Sri Pentas Studio 2 in Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
Gameplay
Format
The guest artist(s) must attempt to guess SEE-cret songers who are "good" and "bad" without hearing them sing. SEE-cret songers must partake on every round, at which they can receive help and advice from the SING-vestigators.
After eliminating one to two SEE-cret songers in each round, they would perform using real voice at the stage of truth. The last SEE-cret songer standing will do duet-perform by guest artist(s).

- One of these winners could get a chance to have a potential recording contract and a single under Monkey Bone Records and Warner Music Malaysia .[MY 3][9][16]

Rounds
There were six individuals of SEE-cret songers standing on the platform with its aliases to keep their identities concealed until its initial performance.[17]
- Singer's visual
- The guest artist(s) have time to observe and examine each SEE-cret songer based on their appearance. After this, a muted video of each SEE-cret songer that reveals only 0.3 seconds of their singing voice is played as an additional hint.[MY 1][MY 2]
- Each SEE-cret songer is given two identities – as a good singer and as a bad singer. Only one of them is their real identity.[MY 3]
- Singer's lip-sync
- Every SEE-cret songer performs a lip-sync of a song. Good singers lip-sync to their own voice, while bad singers lip-sync to other's voices.[MY 1][MY 2]
- The SEE-cret songer lip-syncs to the good singer's voice, then the bad singer's voice comes in the middle of the performance.[MY 3]
- Singer's evidence
- For 30 seconds, three randomly selected panelists must hear the SEE-cret songer's singing voice using a headphone. Afterwards, he or she must defend the SEE-cret songer and convince the guest artist(s) to choose him/her as the final SEE-cret songer.[MY 1][MY 2]
- A proof of each SEE-cret songer's singing ability (i.e. photo, video, certificates, etc) is shown on the screen. Good singers have their own evidences while bad singers had their evidences fabricated.[MY 2][MY 3]
- The hosts of the show have randomly assigned clues about the SEE-cret songer. The guest artist(s) must choose a clue for each SEE-cret songer.[MY 3]
- Singer's verdict
- The guest artist(s) must have then 60 seconds to make an interview to the remaining SEE-cret songers before making the final decision, at which point is depending on every SING-vestigators' opinion and/or an audience's majority voting.[MY 1][MY 3]
