The Nadoja Award (Kannada: ನಾಡೋಜ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ) is a prestigious award presented annually by Kannada University, Hampi, India to eminent personalities for their contribution in various fields.[1] The word "Nodoja" belongs to Adikavi Pampa which means `teacher to the land'. This award is equivalent to the Honorary [Doctor of Literature] (D.Litt.) degree. This award is inspired by the honorary Degree of 'Desikottama' by the Visva-Bharati University.
