The Very Rev.Ronald Alfred Beddoes

The Very Rev Ronald Alfred Beddoes was an eminent Anglican Priest in the second half of the 20th century.
He was born on September 14, 1912, educated at St Chad's College, Durham and ordained in 1936.[1] He was President of the Durham Union for Easter term of 1936.[2] After a curacy at Dawden, County Durham he was Priest in charge of Grindon. He then held incumbencies at Greatham[3] and Easington[4] until his appointment as the fourth Provost of Derby Cathedral. He resigned in 1981 and was Priest in charge of Beeley and Edensor until 1997.[5]
He died in autumn 2000, aged 88.[6]
