Kronoby (Template:Lang-fi) is a municipality of Finland.
Kronoby is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Ostrobothnia region. The municipality has a population of 6,340 (31 August 2024)[2] and covers an area of 752.65 square kilometres (290.60 sq mi) of which 40.3 km2 (15.6 sq mi) is water.[1] The population density is 8.89 inhabitants per square kilometre (23.0/sq mi).
The municipality is bilingual, with the majority speaking Swedish (76%) and the minority Finnish (19.1%).[6]
Kokkola-Pietarsaari Airport is located in Kronoby.
