Mahdi al-Mashat (Arabic: مهدي المشاط) is a Yemeni political figure from the Houthi movement. After the death of Saleh Ali al-Sammad on 19 April 2018, he became president of the Supreme Political Council.[2] He was formerly the representative of Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi, the leader of the movement[3] and director of his office.[2]
