Troy McLean (born 30 July 1979 in Wellington, New Zealand) is a New Zealand professional basketball player. He is a 1.93m shooting guard.

McLean had a fantastic career with the Wellington Saints dating back to 1996 when he played one game as a 17-year-old. Between 1998 and 2005, McLean played 145 games for the Saints and won a championship in 2003.[1] In 2006, he played for the Harbour Heat where in 18 games, he averaged 16.4 points per game.[2]

Known for his excellent three-point shooting, McLean was a member of the Tall Blacks team that won a silver medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. In 2007, he returned to the Saints and went on to win two further championships with the team in 2010 and 2011.[3]

In March 2013, McLean signed with the Manawatu Jets for the 2013 New Zealand NBL season.[4] He returned to the Jets in 2014 for one final season, and played his 300th NBL game on May 3 in a win over the Canterbury Rams.[5][6][7]
