Performance
The January 2016, Ofsted report found Acle Academy to be a "Inadequate"[1] in all areas. The school has seen a steady decline in its performance since 2010 and has also seen a change in leadership four times since the spring term of 2015. Following the 2016 Ofsted report, the academy has been put on "special measures".

Extracurricular
Acle Academy arranges for special talks that are open to the public, and works closely with village groups, such as the, Acle Community Archive Group, Acle Archaeology Project and Acle Youth Club. The school works in partnership with its feeder schools, partner high schools, local businesses and other learning providers. Family learning is promoted by running weekend events such as the Science Day. [citation needed]
