Ahirauli Baghel is an Indian village located on the border of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. Bhojpuri is the primary language spoken in this village. The Bajaj Hindusthan Pratappur sugar mill is located nearby.

Location

The village is divided into three main sub-divisions called "Uttar (Northern) Patti", "Beech (Middle) Patti", and "Dakshin (Southern) Patti". Other than this it contains several other tola-mohallas, e.g. Gajharwa and Bhaisaha and Paschimtola (purnadih) etc.

Public Faculties

There are major local Dev Sthanas famous in the village are "Kriparam Baba", "Bramha baba", "Kali mai", and "budhiya mai". The village has two colleges named, "Sangram Singh Baghel

Inter College" , During sixties and seventies there was hardly a science faculty school where science education could be given to students of the area and to establish science faculty Late Laxman singh baghel made all his effort to bring since education in S S B I college first and built the school from scratch to the current level and can still be visualize by visiting the school. He was chairman of cane union Pratapur mill.There is a newly established gas agency in Ahirauli Baghel in Uttar-Patti and "Lakhan Ji Inter College", providing education up to intermediate level. There is also a girl school which provide education up to 8th standard, a primary school near Baram Baba Dev Sthan, and a "Saraswati Shishu Mandir" in Beech Patti. . The nearest railway station is Bankata or some time called "Bankata Station". It is a last border Railway Station in UP (from eastern) after which the state of Bihar Starts. Trains which have stoppage are Bagh Express, Maurya Express, and Jhansi Express have their stoppage in Bankata Station. The neighboring prominent villages are Pratap Chhapar, Bhunwar, Sohanpur, Chheriha, Jaitpura etc., connected by this Railway Station. Villagers of this area usually go to Mairwa and Bhatpar Rani, a nearby very small town, for shopping. A Samudaik Health Center is located about a half kilometer from the village, but few hospitals or doctors in the range of 30 to 40 km. For more advanced medical facilities, one must go to Deoria, the district center, and further to Gorakhpur. The village also has an electric sub station.
